1) If you are using camera support, then switch off the internal image stabilisation.
2) Adjust the ISO in such a way that you get a minimum of 1/1000 sec shutter speed.
3) Have a good idea of the kind of birds that is going to come in that vision & know about their habits.
4) Keep shooting and never preview the images during the Shoot.
5) Avoid changing the lens on location.
