Thank you for taking an interest in our Big Bear Bald Eagle family. We hope you enjoy your viewing and chat experience. Please remember to always follow the chat guidelines below. This is a view into the everyday life of wild bald eagles and the nature that surrounds them.
1. Please do your best to stay on topic of the Big Bear Eagle family & the surrounding ecosystem.
2. Be kind, polite and courteous. Agree to disagree respectfully and steer clear of prolonged arguments.
3. Be respectful and considerate to eagles* & nature. The exact location of the nest, local landmarks, & camera placement are not disclosed to protect the eagles.
4. Avoid the following content: controversial (politics, religion, sports & TV shows), adult (sexual topics, substances), personal subjects (locations, health issues etc.). This is a public family friendly platform, we care about your safety.
5. Do not post Roll Calls. Roll Call is when someone solicits responses from multiple chatters (eg. where is everyone from?). It results in numerous responses & can fill the chat quickly with off-topic.
6. Avoid drama, panic language, rumors, or speculations. We all have a responsibility to keep the chat information factual & maintain positive educational environment.
7. Use English for the benefit of everyone. A single language helps our global community to understand each other. If needed, please use Google translate: https://bit.ly/3tJx2bf
8. Avoid spamming. Do not overuse caps & emojis (the limit is 4). Do not repeat statements. Conversely, repeating unaddressed questions is appropriate & encouraged.
9. Refrain from promotion of unrelated sites, businesses, commercial platforms, or any form of solicitation.
10. If you see an inappropriate comment, please do not engage; let the moderator handle the situation.
11. Respect our volunteer chat moderators & their decisions. If you have questions or concerns, please email to fobbvchat (at) gmail.com.
